Hey Kids!

Need an awesome place to hang out on Wednesday nights??? Well, If you're between the ages of 13 and 18 we have the place for you!

Every Wednesday from 6 to 8 we meet at the Recreation Building just across the street from the church. We have all sorts of things to do. You can shoot hoops, shoot pool, or just shoot the breeze. If you're not into playing sports come listen to our "professional rappers" at the same time.

Every Wednesday night we give a lesson that is guaranteed to make you think and leave you pumped up and excited throughout the week. Our youth group is about changing lives one heart at a time. This means that we are serious about seeing the truth delivered in a powerful and meaningful way every Wednesday. The lessons are interactive and have included scavenger hunts, "field-trips", making movies, black lights, optical illusions, outrageous props, bumpin the frame out-da-church music, dressing up in strange outfits, taking fun surveys, and lots of humor.

Our primary concern however, on Wednesdays is praising our awesome God. We do our best to make this night an evening of worship, prayer and praise.

On Sunday mornings we meet at 9:30 a.m. in room 218 and discuss issues that we really face on a daily basis. We talk about things that you probably won't learn about in high school or the even the school of hard knocks. This is because we are doing our best to learn about God's purpose in our lives and what really matters in terms of this life and the eternal life that follows.

We provide an opportunity for individuals to make a choice every Sunday about accepting Jesus and the gift of heaven that He wants each of us to have. On Sunday afternoons we have a Drama Group that is super cool and is always looking to recruit more people. We also go out every Sunday afternoon to knock on doors and carry the "Good News" to people living in our community.

If you're into singing we have a place for you in our youth choir. If you want to be a part of the # 1 basketball team in Memphis, come meet the boys any Wednesday night or Sunday afternoon. They'll show you what having "game" is all about. We welcome you to come and visit us and we KNOW that we have a place for you in our youth group.
