I grew up on the streets of Chicago, IL, where I began experimenting with drugs before the age of ten. By the age of seventeen, I felt as though my life had hit rock bottom, even to the point of no return. I had become a high school dropout, a drug abuser and dealer. I was empty inside, constantly feeling afraid, unwanted, inferior and depressed. Before my eighteenth birthday, a metamorphosis had taken place in my life. I had never felt so loved, experienced such joy and peace before. For the first time, I felt as though I was someone to somebody. My fears and inferiority complex were replaced with self-confidence and boldness. I had become a different person living a new life.

I went back to high school and graduated.
Served in the United States Air Force as Military Police
Married my beautiful wife Dorthy; we had four daughters.
Earned Degree in Computer Science, graduated valedictorian

These personal triumphs and many more began the day I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord & Savior. He changed me from the inside out. Now that's a miracle! I know there is no way I could have accomplished these things on my own.

Best of all, I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that's mind blowing!

My passion is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others! I want the people in Highland Heights Community to know that God is no respecter of persons, He extends His love and grace to whom so ever will accept it.

I'm excited about what God is doing at Highland Heights Baptist Church and how the members are on the move in the community sharing and helping those in need!

I grew up right here at Highland Heights and in a home where Jesus was put first. I had a life changing experience with Jesus when I was 5 years old at my grandmother's house and have never been the same since.

Some may think that my story is not a exciting as others but Jesus continues to do a great work in my heart everyday and teaches me something new all the time.

In 1999, at the age of 18, God called me into full time ministry here at this church and I've had the joy of serving this community and it's children since then. My relationship with God and working in his kingdom is the most satisfying thing I've ever experienced.

Highland Heights has been my home since I was a child and will continue to be for a long time to come!

My passion is working with children and helping them see the wonderful relationship they can have with Christ. To let Jesus shine through me to them is what I strive for here in our KidZone program.
